Two constraints shaped this school project: casework that takes constant daily use, and a summer window to install all of it. The commons serving counter anchors the cafeteria — a wipe-clean station with student bar seating that also works as a gathering point between classes.

The classroom, corridor, and media-center casework is built for the same wear, with impact-resistant edges and commercial hardware in plastic laminate and solid surface. All of it had to be measured, fabricated, and set inside the school-calendar schedule.

Technical summary

Pio's Role

Shop drawings, field measuring, material coordination, fabrication, finishing, delivery, and installation.

Challenge

Education casework runs hard and installs on a tight summer window — durable plastic-laminate cabinets, a commons counter, and corridor casework built and set before the school year.

Result

Classroom, commons, and corridor casework delivered to survive the school year and the summer schedule.
